Sitting in the First Class/Sleeper Car Lounge:

We just had to step outside the station to see something of Chicago.  Wanted to see the Sears Tower, the Hancock Tower, and the Chicago river.

As it turned out, the River is right outside the Union Station.  So, we got a couple of pictures of it.

This shot is looking toward The Boeing Company's headquarters building.

This view of the Chicago River is looking toward Jackson Street.  We saw this bridge as our train was entering the Union Station earlier this morning.  Never realized it was right out side the doors.

This tall building, is the Boeing company's new headquarters.  You can just barely make out the Boeing logo at the top of the tower.

The building in the center of this shot is the Chicago Sun Times newspaper offices.  A great paper, and it has had some super reporters and columnists.
